How it started

Two worlds, one stubborn problem

Leo spent years running revenue and distribution for hotels across Australia, New Zealand and Thailand. He watched the properties he managed pull ahead while the independents next door, often just as good, kept guessing at their rates with a spreadsheet and a glance at Booking.com.

Alexandre spent his career on the other side of that gap, building the data and AI systems behind products used by thousands of companies. He knew the technology to fix it already existed. It was simply locked inside software no independent hotel could ever afford.

Both based in Bangkok, they kept arriving at the same conclusion: the hotels that make up most of the industry were being left behind, not because the tools were impossible, but because nobody had built them for the people who needed them most. So they did.

In AI since 2019, before the LLM wave, he has advised top Silicon Valley vendors, including a $3B AI startup. He is the technical engine behind everything Scalation ships.

He knows exactly what an operator needs before rates go out.
